To stay healthy.. we went cycling!

Yupz.. we went cycling on Saturday morning..

i cabbed from home at 10:10am to pick up ah nia and alern in hougang, followed by baby at tampines.. we nearly missed da cut-off time fer macs breakfast at 11am.. phew.. thk goodness we made it, juz in a nick of time! wahahha.. it was a quick meal at east coast macs.. and den we were off to da bike rental shop.. it was 2 hrs of pure (okie.. not DAT pure la!) cycling.. plus horsing around on da beach and piccies taking later.. we went off.. sunburnt and in desperate need of a shower!

baby n i made our way to marine parade.. boy, has da place changed tons since eons ago! =P.. quite a nice place to shop.. coz dere are alot of shops! hehe.. i lurve cotton on.. bought 3 dresses at $10 each! can u imagine da joy?! wahhahaa.. and aft baby got his chin-up bar (i hope he is using em! if not its 30 bux down da drain..), we proceeded to make our wae home by bus.. it was a LONGG bus ride.. and to nobody's surprise.. i slept practically thru da entire trip.. dunnoe if baby slept wif my head plonked on his shoulder.. heh.. so romantic! =D

aft dunnoe hw many minutes (hours?!).. hungry baby and a very groggy (bt happie coz sleep-satisfied) me finally arrived at tampines interchange.. time fer some chow coz it was nearly 5pm! baby intro-ed me to dis famous (news-worthy) noodle stall, where i settled fer yummy chicken curry noodles (no regrets!) and baby greedily tucked into his life-changing meat balls noodles.. tehe.. aft dat, we made our wae home fer some much-needed rest..

dinner at 10pm was awesome! da hongkong noodles and ee-mee we ate were fabulous! da lemon chicken was even more shiok! *slurps slurps slurps*.. sigh.. im hungry nw.. hmm.. damn da recollection of food.. heh.. ahhh well.. gd nitey and tata!

went to da new club - Zirca on Friday nite.. wenny has a vip table under her name, plus it was free flow till 11ish.. so it was a pretty awesome nite, albeit da occassion boredom when no entertainers came out to wow da crowd.. heh.. some piccies of us at da club.. =)

We Survived Our Bangkok Trip!

This was wad Moss Dom informed when i called da office before our plane took off to da land of smiles.. well.. fast ferward a week or so.. and we're bk in same ol' same ol' spore.. sigh.. we miss bkk.. dis is by far, da bestest bkk trip i haf ever had!

spent a wee bit UNDERbudget, can u imagine? hehe.. baby spent slightly under oso.. yay! bt nooo.. we bought WAEEE more den expected! we were pleasantly surprised dat we spent sooo lil to get soooo much in return! wheeee! i mish those shopping sprees and pigging out.. *snorts*.. heh.. =P

i've been down and out dis couple of daes.. adriell made me smile when he gave me dis..

baby gave me a pleasant surprise when he visited me aft sch todae.. he secretly planted a lil sleepy carebear keychain on my laptop when i was gettin ready to go out to meet lian and nia.. when i found da teeny sleepy bear sitting nice and comfy nearby my family of poohs and bears.. it was uber cute.. *bigg grinz*

wad makes adriell different fr anione else i noe? adriell noes exactly da thingy to do to make me smile when im stuck in da rut.. =).. i love dis new addition.. it definitely made my dae.. and i finally mustered a gleeful smile aft he had endured thru daes of my sour expressions, unreasonable angst and fluctuating mood swings..

fr laz sat till juz dis noon.. i nearly fainted.. i've cried several times.. i've felt emo fer no rhyme or reason.. i gt very pissed.. i considered getting psychological help to tackle my mental problem.. u name da crazee shitass emotions.. i felt it! i dunnoe y i've been feeling down in da dumps these past two daes.. hmm.. it mite be da time of da mth.. plus da fact dat im all teary-eyed as im gonna be giving away / throwing away / donating 8 full bags of my beautiful clothes!! sigh.. and of coz, hw can i ferget da undue stress dat i've been receiving fr no. 2 at werk.. wadeva farked-up shite dat happens, i get da brunt of her anger and sarcasm.. which seems pretty unfair and uncomprehensible to me!! i hope she will juz go awae and leave me alone.. *yah rite! dat wld onli happen if i quit myself!*..

sigh.. i cant wait fer moss dom to return on da 22nd.. and fer no. 2's hormones to be fixed when doc comes bk tmr and dey haf da greatest *bang* of their lives so she can stop making life miserable fer all of us at werk.. im def keeping my fingers crossed!!

Hadda happie happie bdae dis yr.. despite me being a busy busy girl both at werk and at play.. still savouring all da precious moments of joy and laughter.. thkful dat dere werent many quarrels or sadness dat i can recall.. all in all, feeling v v v blessed.. =)

New jobscope.. fun outings.. great conversations.. swit lurving.. gym-going.. so many plans in-store fer da nex few years ahead.. i cant waita embark on dis journey..!!

..coz baby bought me a ring.. which at dis v moment, im wearing as im typing dis post.. hee.. it may not be anythingy fancy, or even diamond.. bt i love it nonetheless.. baby gave me a quote, which reminded me of da signs put up outside wheelock place, "a temporary diversion for a permanent improvement".. except baby's quote goes sumtingy like, "a temporary ring dat will be replaced wif a lifelong diamond.." =)

Baby's spending tons of time hitting da books during dis exams period.. So as much as i wanna spend time wif him, sumtimes, it may be a tad hard.. thus, wif all da free time i haf, i've put em to gd use.. such as spending quality time at home wif my family.. or meeting wif up my frens.. =P

Quick recap of some of da past weeks' activities..

2 sundaes ago.. my parents brought me and my bro out fer dinner at da "new" terminal 3.. cool place.. i found dat da tcc near da viewing gallery is absolutely romantic.. thus juz dis evening.. aft spending a greattt dae wif baby aft a longggg dae hard at werk.. we had dinner and desserts, wif a lil exploration of da t3.. both of us gt reminded of our fabulous hk trip, dat we cant waita go on our bkk trip at da end of da yr (yes, i will be goin on anada bkk trip).. hehe.. hope lian and gunglue are reali onz bout it.. n i pray dat nia will come along tew! taipei can wait till nex yr rite?? =D

it was a disaster-turned-super fun fridae laz wk as baby n i made our wae down to gunglue's chalet in east coast.. it started off a lil quiet at first, bt as da nite progressed, it became a fun nite of scaryy stories and massacre of terrifying, stalker roaches! thx to gunglue fer inviting us, and fer giving me my belated bdae pressie.. i owe uu one! =P

fer da past couple of sats, i werked till late (read: 4+pm) so baby can squeeze in abit more time revising.. aniwaes, dere were tons of stuff to finish up in da office, so i was kinda glad fer da extra time i was given.. oh wait a min, i can nv finish up da werk aniwaes.. so y sld i try soo hard rite? all da time in da world will nv be enuff.. sigh.. bt heh.. i was pretty glad dat i completed 80% of all da 30+ NEWLY ASSIGNED tasks i hadda complete by todae.. and irritatingly enuff, i had brought werk bk to do on sundae (which is todae).. sadz.. so no life one.. and as fer those who are concerned bout da mental health of my mdm bossie.. as usual, no. 2 was a pain in da butt so i hafto keep reminding myself to keep a distance fr her as shes crazyy.. one min, shes pretty interesting to tok to and discuss future plans fer PP.. and da nex min, shes friggin' stressed out and stresses EVERYONE else out.. sigh.. a note to self.. a leopard nv changes its spots.. so theoretically, no. 2 nv will be sane.. period.

oh yah.. bo benny found dis kewl website selling simplistic, yet waee kewl stuff like "Help! i haf a headache" medication and "Help! i haf a cut" surgicals.. tink its cute and unique enuff to bring into PP, bt kenna rejected.. sianzz la, old foggys.. no ideas one.. cheyy.. =P.. da store even makes "Help!" tee-shirts.. wahha.. juz tinkin bout it reminded me of da perverse joy we had, poking fun at No. 2, Melissa Yong and Mr. S. Chong.. "Help! I love J*rry.. err, nope i mean S*an!".. or "Help! I'm married to S. Chong!".. wahahhaha! funny la! =P

on tue, we had our PP cake-tasting session which was wayy fun la! well, at least i was outta da office most of da time.. so dat was great! sales fer da cakes were fantastic, bt sales in-store sucked.. =P.. bonus point was having a cute guy around tew la.. wahahahhaa! ps. wo ai, if gt chance, i wanna intro him to u.. i tink u will like dis kinda dude.. completely ur type la! *winks*.. rina wan i oso dun wana intro to her! hahaha! coz shes a cheena lian whos sua-gu coz gt no facebook account! wahahhahaa.. jokin' la..! ah nia, still go bkk wif us k?! *muacks*

we had our long-awaited JTES outing laz wed.. bt bummer, it wasnt tew well-attended.. was initially oredi abit sian to go due to da lack of slp da nite before.. plus some other minor stuff.. hmm.. bt it was fun accompanying joycee to visit her sista at sgh.. coz joycee always has tons of interesting and informative stuff to share.. shes a gem la.. =)

Labour Dae was merely a quick dae of rest fer me.. and soon, da dae flew by and yest, no. 2 went berserk as usual.. shes like a werewolf.. transformation during full moons (aka after holidays).. aft werk, i was late in meeting ah nia in town.. dat lucky woman received $200 worth of TANGS vouchers to utilize.. so badd.. nv share one.. =P.. hehe.. she only hadda pay $5 fer Polo Ralph perfume lor.. wahahaha! so cheapskate! wahhhaa! it was den to pasta cafe, den crystal jade, den bk to pasta cafe, where we settled fer dinner wif yi.. yummilicious la! will prob meet up wif ah nia again nex week, and possibly meidong tew.. =)

omg.. i can hear da birds chirping outside my window.. its.. 6:42am in da morning!!.. bottom line before i get my overdue slp.. i cant waita go bk to bkk la! tata~

It's Girls' Nite Out!!

shall start off wif some yummilicious piccies of da evening.. da not-so-yummilicious ones taken at shee's place.. shall fereva be kept a secret.. wahahaha.. =)





met up wif da sistas laz nite.. as it was exam time fer shee, wow time fer wen, and sick time fer me.. we decided to keep da nite short and early.. thus, it was gonna be a simple dinner at some nearby place in mohd sultan.. we were all kinda full tew, so we din wanna eat tew much.. butter factory wld oso hafto wait juz one more mth.. great! gives me more time to get "more" into shape.. by "more", i mean i have already lost some weight!

dressed up at shee's place, we shared juicy gossips and traded pressies.. time sure flew by and at bout nearly 8pm, we finally settled at Zen's - a jap restaurant dat serves da most awesome and flavourful wagyu beef and crab hotpot buffet.. we took q abit of piccies while waiting fer da food, and hadda q abit of girly fun! tink da place was understaffed so service was a tad slow.. .. a pity fer me tho, as i believe i cld haf gorged down two more platters of beef.. wahhhah! well, its prob oso a blessing in disguise as i wun wanna be bloated beyond recognition by da end of da meal! tehe.. im proud of da girls fer eating much more den i did.. haha.. cant believe shee actuali devoured 3 crab chawanmushis near da end..!! and im oso proud of myself fer actuali trying out da crab tempura and sushi.. eee.. hahaa.. dun like da taste of crab still la!

at da end of dinner, we realized it was past 10pm, so we sashayed bk to shee's place to retrieve our stuff before goin hm.. whoa.. i tot we'd be hm by 9pm latest actuali.. hehe..

im reali glad we girls are keeping to our promise of meeting up more frequently, instead of impromptu acts or short drop-offs.. i lurve da fact dat our girls' nite outs keep me updated, young, hot, happening.. and totally insane! hehe.. =P

2 weeks away from "HELL"..

came bk fr hot, HOT BANGKOK a week bk!! man, were we relieved when our luggages were under da allowed weight.. wahhahaa! sld have gotten more stuff la! =P

unfortunately i wasnt top-form all da wae due to da darned flu bug i caught 2 daes before da trip.. thus not many piccies taken tew.. sigh.. i was suffering from nose blockage, mucus purgement, plague-like cough, etc., and to make thingys worse.. da air pollution dere din help one bit.. haha.. bt i did lurve da cool and occasionally wild breeze against my face during our many tuktuk rides tho! hehe.. im a champion bargainner la, i tell u! ask anione who witnessed my shopping and bargaining skills.. hahaha.. dey'll tell u da same thingy tew! =D.. plus i noe hw to appeal to da tuktuk and cabbie drivers la.. joke wif em and make em laff at my cannot-make it thai.. wahhaha.. bt wad da heck rite.. dats hw we always get discounts! wahhahaa!

aniwaes, yi, nia n i set off on da 4th morning at 10am and returned on 7th night at 9:30pm.. overall, it was indeed a fun trip wif juz da girls.. hehee.. all da time spent doin our hair extensions, painting our nails and lengthening our eyelashes (onli i din coz tew scared!) would drive any boy nuts! hahaha.. it nearly drove me nuts myself.. tehe.. oh yah.. a note to self.. im to seriously start taking care of my skin.. coz im oredi a quarter-century old.. yi and nia are oredi so into their tedious and time-consuming beauty regimes, and im still stuck at da "moisturizer-only" phase.. diaoz.. betta heed their advice before i look 40 when im 29!! eeks!

din manage to get as much stuff fer myself or my family and sistas as expected.. coz firstly, i wasnt planning to spend much.. secondly coz while yi and nia could shop fer pretty office wear.. i din hafto coz i wear a kuku eggplant suit to werk.. haiz.. plus some of da fashion dere were seriously OFF.. wahhaha.. cannot make it la!! bt im glad i did get some cute tees fer lian and baby tho.. and oso some other nice stuff fer my other frens and colleagues.. gd dat dey liked da NARAYA stuff i chose fer em.. so pretty.. i muz rem to ask yi to help me buy da big naraya bag fer me when she jets off to bkk again dis wk!!

aniwaes.. da food fr da roadside stalls were fabulously great!! ordered a lil tew much patthai tho.. hahaa.. coz i had a lil allergic reaction from da teeny red shrimps.. hmm.. on second tots.. maybe its da air pollution.. hmm.. aniwaes.. da bbq chicken drumsticks, braised chicken wings, chicken glass noodles, fried patthai, etc. were yummilicious!! tinkin bout it.. im salivating oredi.. wahhahaha! da hotel's chicken porridge was pretty gd tew..

bout da hotel, din reali like da tiny cockroaches everywhere and eeky carpeting and walls.. dun like da hotel lift tew.. seems like its fr a scene from an asian horror flick wif da eerie greenish lite.. eee! *scared*.. i did like da nice balcony area and yi and nia's beds tho.. i din slp on da nice bed coz i was ill, so gotta "quarantine" myself.. wahahahah - rite.. i like da staff tho.. v frenly and helpful.. always smile and smile one.. =)

i told em to imagine dis situation.. we juz had our hair, nails and lashes done.. a hottie den approach us and tells us he wans to get to noe us.. we ask him fer 3 reasons why and he replies dis, "i lurve ur long, soft hair.. very feminine.. i lurve ur pretty hands and hw u take great care of em.. and i lurve ur big, big eyes.. mysterious like da depths of da ocean..".. wahahaha.. bummer.. *diaoz*
