Scaryy.

my comp keeps acting up.. since 5pm yest.. it juz keeps hanging and hanging in da midst of me doin da usual surfing etc.. and aft awhile.. i hafto reboot it and it continues to hang at da scanning of da system.. baby saes to leave it alone and it'll recover.. and guess wad.. it has! its nw 7:30am in da morn, and apparently, da system made it thru da whole scanning process.. and a dialogue box even popped up.. saying "your system has recovered fr a serious error.".. omg.. but when i tried to print screen of da error reports.. it hung.. and i hadda shut da application down.. and my java update wun nt complete installation.. so i closed dat down tew.. sigh.. i tink its time fer a new lappie (pink sony vaio!).. aft all, dis one has been wif me since.. 3-4 yrs bk?? hmm.. alternatively.. i cld send it fer repair which mite cost me a lil bomb tew.. wad a wae to spend my increment rite! damnn..

*argh.. nw its 10:07am and im at werk.. yess.. i din get to finish my post coz my lappie crashed again.. called da acer helpdesk and over da fone, dey diagnosed it as a faulty hard-drive.. arghhh.. and dey dun do files recovery (all my pretty piccies!).. so dey recommended me to get my lappie fixed over in sim lim.. haiz.. sad..*

on a completely diff note.. i hadda rather scary dream.. i dreamt of shee and wen.. and we 3 were on a bus trip to i-dunno-where.. we made it past da immigration bus terminal - wifout stamping on our passports! a dude in an old fashioned bus conductor uniform (wif da cap and stuff) handed us a bottle of mineral water each, as we lugged our duffel bags past da wary crowd of zombish travellers (all dirty and sandy-looking).. we made our wae towards a wild wild west looking saloon.. that actuali looks like a dusty construction site wif an "open" concept (read: tink "hollywood squares" setup).. we cld cee pple juz lying ard in da three storey structure.. well.. we squeezed ourselves into a dirty 60's van to spend da nite out in da yucky, eeky environment..

and den.. i woke up..

A New Lease on Life..

over da course of a few daes.. a couple of changes have been implemented at werk.. fer da betta, i wld sae..

1. a substantial increment (across da board).. and man, izzit huge..
2. more flexibility in terms of leave benefits.. so im goin to HK!!
3. an improved approach towards employees' work-life balance..
4. a nicer tone of voice fr no.2.. hope her slightly more pleasant disposition is here to stay tew..
5. a new language class during lunch everydae.. we're currently learning indonesian (and malay)..

also.. im personally learning cantonese dis daes.. and so far, i've improved ever so slightly.. tehe.. *proud*.. hope to converse fluently (..rite) by da time i get to hk mid nov.. yay!

gonna go enjoy baby's mom's yummy dinner nw.. tata~
