Our Hongkong Trip: 16-19 Nov 2007

at long last.. i am FINALLY.. yes, FINALLY blogging bout baby and my long-awaited vacation to da Fragrant Harbour - Hongkong!

well.. i've chosen some of our piccies to summarize da views and da fun we had on our 4D3Ns trip.. it was def an enjoyable and carefree experience, whereby da two of us were juz thrown into many impromtu situations dat required our street-smartness and planning.. it was a terrific shopping, feasting and sight-seeing vacation.. a pity we din dare to bring out our cams while we were out shopping.. if not dere will be more piccies to enjoy.. hehe.. nvm la.. nex trip we will and MUZ take more piccies!! =D

despite our occasional squabbles, we had our funny, unfergettable scenarios tew..! heh.. im sure baby hates fer me to list em down here.. but those times will sure be etched permanently in my head.. *grinz*.. ahh damn.. i buay tahan la.. hehehe.. lemme share em la! wahhahaa..

1. "Hi, one fish and chips pls.".. *15 mins later*.. "Hi, here is ur CHIPS and fish.."
2. "Err.. Chu.. Where are da bus tickets?"
3. *looks into da mirror*.. "omg! gave me a shock! i nearly walked into dat!!"

5. "Kowloon means nine dragons in Cantonese.. Sampan means three wood in Cantonese.."
6. "Omg.. rich taitais rich until socks muz expose their LV design one ar!!"
7. "Okie.. coming up on ur rite is repulse bay.. u onli haf 2 secs to cee it.. annnnd dere!.. moving on, we're goin to stanley market..".. *WTF??*
8. "Those are da squatter apartments dat are blah blah blah.. and to ur left pls find blah blah blah.. *turns to rich taitais and speaks in mandarin*.. okie.. we haf arrived.. pls get down nw.. *diaoz*"
9. "Will you buy me sumtingy fr dis jewellery place?".. "yes! lemme get u dis tissue box cover fer.. $4.90!"
10. "Erm.. okayy.. So THIS is our room??"
11. *Indian tourists standing extremely close*.. "Calcutta is a veryyy good place.. and I went to Spore and took a pic wif da merlion.. dis is da merlion??"
12. "Damn.. isnt Ladies' Market kinda boring?".. da nex dae, "Chu.. i dun tink DAT was Ladies Market.."
13. "Chu wanna take photo??".. "No.. it stinks..".. ".. But stinky oso cannot be smelt fr da photo wad.."
14. "Chu.. its time to wake up..".. *one hr later*.. "Chu.. its time to wake up..".. *one hr later*.. "Chu.. its time to wake up.."
15. "Oww.. my boots are killing me..".. "So which exit?".. "Aiyaa.. Exit 1 to Times Square la.. looks nearer!".. *5 mins of walking later.. stands flabbergasted at da slope ahead*.. "omg.."
16. "Kee Wah is dere.. noo.. here.. noo.. dere.." *ends up walking up and down 5 times!!*
17. "Heyy! This Royal Plaza place looks great! We gotta come bk here later!".. *an hr later*.. "Omg.. dis place sux.. Shall we watch a movie?"
18. *Helpful shop asst rattling on in Cantonese*.. "Err.. Sorry.. but we dun reali understand Cantonese.. heee.."
19. *In da Sampan, da boat-lady stops da engine*.. "Okie.. its time to pay up.. HK$55 pls..".. "Chu.. if we dun pay.. wad will happen?".. "Den i tink we will hafto swim bk to shore, chu.."
20. *stumble, stagger, swing*.. "Treeee.."

wahahahaha.. tinking bout dis reali makes me wanna go bk to HK to relive these priceless moments wif baby.. wahhahaaa.. *ROFL*..

but on a more serious note.. THANKS, BABY fer taking such great care of me.. I love you! *muacks*.. im looking ferward to anada superb vacation wif u nex yr.. lian and nia wanna go bkk or taiwan.. and my colleagues mite plan a short getaway to Sunway Lagoon (i tink)!!

Yay! Touched down and on our wae to da hotel..My pork chop noodles and Baby's CHIPS and fish.. =P

Fun Day at the Zoo..!!

time check was 9:20am when baby woke me up.. CNA and Yahoo! weather forecast states dat it wld be cloudy islandwide, and da rain wld wait till tmr.. confirmational smses were sent to da various parties involved in todae's activity.. and a minute later.. *smiles*.. its time to go to da zoo..!!

was suppose to meet up at amk hub macs at 11am.. but eventually, everyone gathered at 12:25pm instead! hehe.. baby n i paid a lil visit to jesper at his werkplace before scurrying off to get some breakfast (and lunch!) fr breadtalk.. it was helter skelter when ah joycee was approaching to pick us up, but both bo benny and sim mi lai wun responding to our calls.. thkfully, all was well aft 5 mins, and we met up and made our wae to mandai.. whoo hoo! it wasnt all dat uncomfy fer 6 adults to squeeze into a car.. in fact, it was rather cosy! wahahhaa..

rain clouds seemed to gather da min we got dere, and we were like "drats!".. luckily, da weather forecast came true and rain onli started trickling at 5:05pm.. =D.. da stink was overwhelming dis time round as compared to da prev time baby n i went, but all in all, it was a great and successful trip to da zoo! a refreshing idea tew.. hehe.. muz haf more of dis kinda fun outings in da future yupz! thx to ah joycee and derick fer ferrying us.. and thx to all four of em fer their enjoyable company.. =D
